About Dr Sharon Pallant
Dr Pallant’s Clinic
In addition to facilitating workshops, Dr Pallant offers individual sessions using cognitive-behavioural and compassionate focused therapeutic approaches for adults struggling with mental ill-health, psychological or psychiatric difficulties and/or non-specific physical health complaints. Dr Pallant offers appointments either in person at her clinic, Pallant Health Services, or via Zoom. Dr Pallant accepts self-referrals as well as referrals from GPs, consultants and other specialists.
Both psychological interventions have proven to be effective in treating a wide range of psychological/psychiatric difficulties, and compassionate focused therapy (CFT), which has evolved from CBT, has proven to be highly effective in working with distressed individuals who are highly self-critical and full of shame, and who tend not to respond to traditional cognitive behavioural therapies.
