My name is Dr Sharon Pallant and I work as a Chartered Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years experience working in the NHS and over 10 years experience working in private practice.

I qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 1995 after 8 years of training and became a Consultant in the year 2004.

Since qualifying, I have been employed by Derbyshire Mental Health Services NHS Trust and have assessed and treated adults with a wide range of mental health difficulties both on an individual basis and in a group setting.

Over the past 10 years, I have reduced my working hours in the NHS in order to develop a private practice offering assessments and therapy for adolescents and adults. I left the NHS in October 2011 to focus on further developing my private practice which is now operating on a full-time basis. I have a small team of highly experienced and dedicated Chartered Clinical Psychologists specialising in the areas of child, adolescent and adult psychology.

I am not part of a large organisation and hence pride myself on providing a personalised service at a competitive rate.
